In the wise words of the Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh, "We walk all the time, but usually it is more like running. Our hurried steps print anxiety and sorrow on the Earth." Slow down with a walking meditation known as "aimless wandering." In this practice we walk without destination and focus on our senses rather than our thoughts.
Try this: Ground yourself by feeling your feet touch the Earth. Walk in any direction, taking slow and mindful steps. Continue to drift slowly and feel your whole being connect with your surroundings. Channel this energy from and back to the Earth, making a mark of positivity with each step.
